Although far from complete and still open for revision, a basic plan has been
established to make the 23rd Street Bike Park a reality.  Here's the plan in phases:
Phase 1
  1. Clear existing trails within the park area.  This would include vegetation, fallen
trees, or other obstacles identified.  Identify the trail difficulty such as easy,
medium, or hard and provide appropriate signage.  Develop a plan for
    maintenance.
  2. Establish a connecting trails system to enhance the experience while in the
    park.
  3. Further development of the entire trail system and various trail features.
Phase 2
  1. Table Top Jump work.  So that the dirt has an opportunity to settle, initial ground
work should be completed in so far that  A. The "launch" area followed by
successive mounds for future jumps are in place for spring time finish work.
  2. Construction of the Pump Track and
  3. The North Shore Skills Area

Important
You must be 18 years old and a work release waiver must be signed and notarized by the Pittsburg City Clerk.
Bring ID.  Upon signing the release waiver, the City Clerk will provide you a card allowing you permission to be
on otherwise  "No Trespassing" property.  Prior to the beginning of any trail work day, KOR club officer will
request to see the card.  I cant reiterate how important this is.  The entire project could be put at risk by not
following this rule.

MANY Thanks to PSU'S "The Big Event"

On April 10, PSU sent out about 6 volunteers to help out at the park as a part
of the PSU's annual event "THE BIG EVENT".  The volunteers spent time
applying a coat of Thompson's Water Seal to the bridge.  Their efforts are
greatly appreciated.  KOAM TV was there to cover the event, check it out
